is always held in our High Street on the 1st Sunday of every month (except January).

They are doing a good trade today as everyone is out buying fresh fruit and veg and plants for the gardens.

I bought wonderful Watergull Orchards apple juice made from Spartan apples, dry cured bacon from Woburn Country foods (Mr S prefers the one cured in black treacle but there was none left today), my favourite which is smoked Lincolnshire Poacher cheese and some smoked ostrich meat which Nick and Mr S like.

Now I am off to sit in the garden with a glass of white wine and soak up some sun.
