Yes blogland does look odd well if I go into QueeneMab anyway, Mrs F seems fine. BUT I cannot comment or open some posts from Queenie.

To try and make some home made hummous tonight.

I blended some chick peas with garlic, paprika, ground jeera (cumin), olive oil, toasted sesame oil, a little salt, a birds eye chili and some fresh lime juice. It was not as good as the delicious dragon's breath hummous he made, but it was quite nice although the colour was rusty rather than tawny and I am going to try again sometime soon maybe using lemon juice rather than lime and maybe some chopped coriander, Oh and maybe some pine nuts.

In other news I am getting Mab and Mrs F all tangled up. Oh well it will take me a while to figure it out I suppose.

Now I don't have to drive till lunchtime tomorrow, so maybe I COULD have that second glass of wine.

This morning as Mr S has a meeting to go to.

I do not see the sunsrises so well now as the leaves are on the trees. What I could see of this mornings was a hazt peach colour.

The Chestnut tree looks beautiful with the flowers out but the pollen from them it is playing havoc with my hayfever.

I am glad it is Friday today even though it has been a short week.

Some nice chilled wine this evening, but what to eat though, had smoked mackeral salad last night.

Going to have a picnic with Mr S, Sarah and Nick tomorrow if the weather holds.

Looking forward to the Greenwich meet in the evening.

These are Icelandic poppies apparently. I think they count as "wild flowers".

On impulse I bought a single plant about 10 years ago to put in a corner of the garden where nothing seems to want to grow. The guy in the garden centre told me that if they like it they'll take off. My Mum advised me that they'll grow like weeds and totally take over.

Seems as if they like it here then.

Blog have given me a new password.

Not sure what happened, why my old password AND my email address were suddenly no longer recognised or why, but it doesn't really matter, the point is it is sorted now.
