These are Icelandic poppies apparently. I think they count as "wild flowers".
On impulse I bought a single plant about 10 years ago to put in a corner of the garden where nothing seems to want to grow. The guy in the garden centre told me that if they like it they'll take off. My Mum advised me that they'll grow like weeds and totally take over.
Seems as if they like it here then.

They are very pretty, but they are ALL over the garden.
I didn't know poppies came in yellow. I have seen pink, white and red poppies.
Your garden looks great hunny.
