If your bum looks big in this

by Mrs_F @ 2008-05-07 - 07:07:10

Then read this article

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20080506/tot-life-fat-diabetes-dc-4b7b872.html

So that is good news for some of us. ;)

In other news my holiday is over today so back to work. It is another beautiful sunny day so I am less than enthusiastic.

"Just one more cup of coffee for the road", then as Mr Dylan used to sing back in the 1970s.

Hope you all have a good day.

Sun's shining here too and it's a heck of a lot warmer than yesterday because no wind today...but Ray's back to work so no going out anywhere much...typical...have a good day, and see you Saturday...LOL...great big hugs...XX

Just read the article!! What to do?!! one minute fat is bad, next it's good...hmmm....Ray says my bum is great, me I'm trying to lose the extra half a stone I put on not smoking - it's not all on my bum, but certainly it's rounder now...LOL...great big hugs...

I think the point is where the fat is distributed ie round the internal organs particularly the heart maybe is bad but stored away from the abdomen along the muscle sheaths and on the bum bum is just an energy source, but maybe that is what I want to hear. ;)

:) I sometimes wonder looking at the number of seriously overweight people around whether they know something we less well covered people don't...for instance maybe they're subconsciously stocking up with their own sources of energy for when the lean times come soon...LOL...the skinny ones will definitely not fare so well if food became in short supply....hmmm...we'll see...great big hugs...XXX

Some people carry their excess fat behind , some in front :)) It's not my behind that bothers me , I rarely see that anyway , it's mi tum !

Mind you, oestrogen is stored in fat and that is a good thing as you get older :)

yes apparently those of us who are a little chubby are meant to be less likely to suffer osteoporosis and stuff, but I suppose the emphasis is on a little chubby.

(Mrs F eyes the delicious choccy regretfully).

I've always had a big tummy , even when I was skinny  *sighs* I love food and eat well, hardly any processed food or junk food... but I'm not fond of exercise either so ...well .. you know the rest :( ...now I'm craving a gypsy toast ..... :)) it's not sweets that get me, its bread and potatoes *sighs*

Oh dear now that you mention it, Gypsy toast is just what I want/need now. ;)

That is very bad of me as we have just had lovely chicken fajitas made by the fair hand of Mr S.

Nite nite
